Day 1 β International Arrival Half-Day Tours (Tuesday)
Arrival in Port Moresby
Transfer to Aku Lodge for refreshment
Guided city tour including:

This exciting 9-day adventure takes you through Suki, Fly River Swamp, and Daru, offering a mix of cultural experiences, fishing, hunting, and scenic canoe trips. Highlights include Black Bass fishing, birdwatching, and river explorations in the Fly River Swamp, along with traditional hunting and storytelling. Experience Sukiβs vibrant culture, canoe rides, and village dances in Dorogori. The trip concludes in Daru Island before flying to Port Moresby for international connections. From thrilling fishing expeditions to immersive village visits, this tour promises a perfect balance of adventure, culture, and relaxation in Papua New Guineaβs remote beauty
DAY 1 β INTERNATIONAL ARRIVAL & HALF-DAY TOUR (TUESDAY)
Upon arrival in Port Moresby, you will be transferred to your hotel to refresh. Later, our guide will take you on a Port Moresby City Tour, which includes:
A visit to Parliament Haus
The National Museum
The Nature Park, where you will have lunch
A trip to the National Orchid Garden
A visit to Koki Fish Market
A scenic drive through Hanuabada Village
After the tour, you will return to Aku Lodge for the evening.
DAY 2 β FLIGHT TO DARU & SIGHTSEEING (WEDNESDAY)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Daru (POM β DAU), arriving at 11:30 AM. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel at Barramundi Lodge, enjoy lunch, and take a short rest.
At 2:00 PM, our tour guide will pick you up for an afternoon of sightseeing, which includes:
A visit to the Western Provincial Assembly Building
A drive to the market
A tour of the vocational trade school
The tour will conclude at 5:00 PM, giving you time to relax and prepare for the next dayβs adventures.
DAY 3 β FLIGHT TO SUKI & CULTURAL EXPERIENCE (THURSDAY)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight with MAF to Gigwa airstrip in Suki (DAU β Suki), arriving at 10:30 AM.
Upon arrival, you will board a motor transfer to Suki Lodge, where you will be welcomed with a traditional performance by Suki Head Hunter Dancers. Afterward, you will have lunch and enjoy an afternoon of activities, including:
Single canoe canoeing
River washing and swimming
DAY 4 β FLY RIVER SWAMP BLACK WATER BLACK BASS FISHING, BIRD WATCHING & HUNTING (FRIDAY)
6:00 AM: After breakfast, you will depart for a Fly River Cruise by motorboat, arriving at 7:00 AM at Kuima Creek for fishing, birdwatching, and hunting.
Midday: Lunch will be served at the campsite.
3:30 PM: Return to Suki Lodge, arriving at 4:30 PM.
6:00 PM: Dinner at Suki Lodge.
DAY 5 β FLY RIVER SWAMP BLACK WATER BLACK BASS FISHING, BIRD WATCHING & HUNTING (SATURDAY)
6:00 AM: After breakfast, you will depart for another Fly River Cruise, arriving at 6:30 AM at Kuima Creek for fishing, birdwatching, and hunting.
Midday: Lunch will be served at the campsite.
3:30 PM: Return to Suki Lodge, arriving at 4:30 PM.
6:00 PM: Dinner at Suki Lodge.
DAY 6 β FLY RIVER SWAMP BLACK WATER BLACK BASS FISHING, BIRD WATCHING & HUNTING (SUNDAY)
6:00 AM: After breakfast, you will depart for a Fly River Cruise, arriving at 7:00 AM at Kuima Creek for another day of fishing, birdwatching, and hunting.
Midday: Lunch will be served at the campsite.
DAY 8 β AIR TRANSFER TO DARU, GAME FISHING & DUGOUT CANOE SAILING (TUESDAY)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Gigwa airstrip for your flight with MAF to Daru (Suki β DAU), arriving at 10:30 AM.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel room at Bara Lodge to refresh.
After lunch, you will embark on a dugout canoe sailing journey to Dorogori Village, arriving at 2:00 PM, where you will:
Witness the Gidra Tribe women weaving brooms
Be welcomed by Dorogori village dancers
Enjoy coconut water (juice) while listening to stories about traditional fishing, hunting, gardening, and crabbing
Take a beach walk and swim
At 5:00 PM, you will be transferred to Daru Island and then to your hotel for the night.
DAY 9 β AIR TRANSFER TO PORT MORESBY & INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL (WEDNESDAY)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight with Air Niugini to Port Moresby (DAU β POM), arriving at 2:00 PM, where you will connect to your international flight.
